LinkedIn personal branding in brief

What is LinkedIn Personal Branding Services?
A complete LinkedIn operating system (profile, point of view, publishing cadence and engagement) run for people whose buyers are on the platform but whose calendar is not.
Who is this for?
Founders and CEOs; B2B and SaaS leaders; Consultants and advisors; Sales and business-development leaders.
What does the engagement include?
Profile strategy, headline, banner, About and Experience sections written for the buyer reading them, not for your internal title.; Audience definition, a specific description of who you are trying to reach, what they already believe, and what would make them stop scrolling.; Point-of-view development, the three to five themes you publish on, with a defensible position inside each one.; Editorial calendar, a rolling plan of posts mapped to themes, formats and business priorities, agreed in advance rather than improvised daily.; Publishing and engagement management, drafting, scheduling, comment strategy and community interaction within your approved boundaries.; Monthly reporting, output, distribution quality and inbound signal, with vanity metrics clearly separated from business-relevant ones..
How long does it take?
3 weeks to build the strategy, calendar and profile. Ongoing management runs on a monthly cycle reviewed each quarter.
What does it cost, and how is it priced?
Quoted in writing after the audit. Price follows scope: how many people the narrative has to cover, how many surfaces need rebuilding, and how much drafting Elvare does compared with your own team. There is no public rate card, because a single profile rebuild and a multi-principal programme are not comparable products.
Where is it delivered?
Remote-first across India in IST working hours, with optional in-person working sessions where they materially improve the outcome. Every deliverable is written, so approval never depends on being in a meeting.

What you get

The engagement, item by item

Every deliverable is written down before work starts, so scope disputes have somewhere to go.

  • Profile strategy, headline, banner, About and Experience sections written for the buyer reading them, not for your internal title.
  • Audience definition, a specific description of who you are trying to reach, what they already believe, and what would make them stop scrolling.
  • Point-of-view development, the three to five themes you publish on, with a defensible position inside each one.
  • Editorial calendar, a rolling plan of posts mapped to themes, formats and business priorities, agreed in advance rather than improvised daily.
  • Publishing and engagement management, drafting, scheduling, comment strategy and community interaction within your approved boundaries.
  • Monthly reporting, output, distribution quality and inbound signal, with vanity metrics clearly separated from business-relevant ones.

Why LinkedIn is the default channel

If you sell to other businesses in India, your buyer is almost certainly on LinkedIn, and so are the people who will refer to you, hire you, fund you or interview you.

But three things make LinkedIn different from every other channel:

  1. The audience is identifiable. Unlike a blog or a podcast, you can see who is reading, who is commenting and who is senior enough to matter. Feedback arrives fast and unfiltered.
  2. The profile compounds. Your profile is a permanent, indexable asset. A post is temporary; a well-built profile works for years, including for people who arrive from a search for your name.
  3. The network persists. A connection stays a connection. Content does not have to win a new audience each time, it re-enters a network that already knows you.

The trade-off is that reach inside that network is heavily quality-dependent. Low-effort content is actively suppressed and, more importantly, is remembered by exactly the people you want to impress.

What the engagement covers

Profile strategy

Most LinkedIn profiles are written for internal audiences, a job title, a list of responsibilities, a paragraph about being passionate. A buyer reading your profile is asking three questions: what problem does this person solve, have they solved it for someone just like me, and how do I start a conversation?

The profile is rebuilt to answer those questions in the first two lines, before the reader taps “see more”.

Audience definition

“Founders” is not an audience. “Series A to B B2B SaaS founders in India who have hired their first marketer and are now under pressure to show pipeline from content” is an audience.

We define yours precisely enough that you could pick a random post and say whether it is aimed at them. If you cannot, the editorial calendar will drift.

Point-of-view development

Three to five themes, each with a position you are willing to defend. The test is simple: could a competitor publish exactly the same post? If yes, it is not a position, it is an observation, and observations do not build reputations.

Editorial calendar

A rolling four-week calendar mapped to themes, formats and any commercial priority in the quarter, a hiring push, a product launch, a funding announcement, a category debate.

You always know what is going out next week. That single fact is what separates programmes that survive a busy month from programmes that quietly stop.

Publishing and engagement management

We draft, schedule and manage comment strategy within your approved boundaries. Comment threads are a serious channel on LinkedIn: a thoughtful reply to the right person’s post reaches a more senior audience than an original post, at a fraction of the effort, and most programmes ignore it entirely.

Monthly reporting

Reported every month, and kept honest by separating:

  • Output, posts published, calendar adherence, formats used. Controlled by us.
  • Distribution, reach composition, meaningful comments, saves and shares, and who is engaging. Partly controlled.
  • Business signal, inbound referencing your content, profile-view-to-message rate, referral language, speaking and podcast invitations. Not controlled, but most important.

We do not report follower growth as a success metric.

How the engagement works

WeekFocus
1Discovery: goal, audience, constraints, competitive set
2Interviews and audit; first draft of themes
3Profile rebuild and calendar agreed; publishing begins
4–8Full cadence runs; first review at week 8
QuarterlyStrategy review: what to keep, cut or change

What this is not for

  • Artificial growth. No engagement pods, bought followers, recycled engagement or undisclosed cross-promotion. These breach LinkedIn’s user agreement and they are trivially visible to the buyers you are trying to reach.
  • Volume-only programmes. If the goal is simply to post as much as possible, Elvare is the wrong and more expensive choice.
  • Impersonation. We will not write opinions you do not hold, or attribute claims to you that you cannot substantiate.

How we measure

Baseline is captured in week one. The quarterly review looks at three things in order: is the cadence holding, is the right audience engaging, and is inbound quality changing. Everything else is context.

Fit

How to tell whether this is the right engagement

Most of the value of a consulting relationship is decided before it starts. These are the questions we ask ourselves on a discovery call.

Good fit
  • You have genuine expertise or a real body of work to build on.
  • You can give at least one hour a month of senior attention.
  • You want a position you can defend, not maximum reach.
  • You are willing to measure honestly, including the misses.
Poor fit
  • You need guaranteed rankings, leads or follower counts.
  • The plan depends on engagement pods or undisclosed promotion.
  • There is no capacity to publish anything consistently.
  • You are looking for a substitute for product-market fit.

Questions

LinkedIn Personal Branding Services, frequently asked

Is LinkedIn still worth the effort for B2B in India?
For most B2B, professional-services and technology companies selling to other businesses, LinkedIn remains the one platform where the buyer, the decision-maker and the category conversation are all present at the same time. That is a structural advantage, not a trend. The honest caveat is that it is crowded: a generic presence produces nothing, and a distinctive one compounds, because posts are distributed to a network that stays identifiable over years rather than disappearing within hours.
How often should we actually publish?
Consistency beats volume. For most founders and executives we recommend two to three substantive posts per week plus a few minutes of genuine engagement on other people's content. Publishing daily almost always degrades quality unless the writer has a large reservoir of material. We would rather you publish twice a week for a year than five times a week for two months and then go silent, because the compounding comes from sustained presence rather than bursts.
Will my connections notice the content is written for me?
Not if the process is interview-led and the approval step is real. We draft from your reasoning, keep a voice guide, and you approve every word before it goes out. What makes content feel like ghostwriting is generic phrasing that could belong to anyone, which is a sourcing problem, not a writing problem. If a draft does not sound like you, it gets rewritten rather than softened.
Do you engage with comments and DMs on my behalf?
We handle comment strategy and drafting, identifying which threads are worth your time and preparing replies for approval. We do not send direct messages, accept connection requests or make commitments on your behalf without your explicit instruction. Anything that involves representing you in a private conversation is a decision you make, not something we automate.
What happens if my company already has a marketing team?
We work to their calendar. In practice that means agreeing which themes belong to you and which to the brand, how your posts link to company pages and category content, how employees amplify, and where reporting should land. Overlap is fine; contradiction is not, so we define the boundaries in week one.
